New Yummy Recipe + Haile Gets Quoted!

Our Haile-bee has been quoted! The creator of Style Me Pretty, Abby Larson, was interviewed for Weddings Unveiled and here's where she quotes HPM:

WU: What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?
AL: "Know what you do and do it well." -- Haile McCollum, owner of Fontaine Maury

Of course you'll want to visit both blogs because, bride or no, they've got enough eye candy to keep you sugar-high til at least mid-morning - a great way to start the day!

I know, I know – it’s a little late for those good luck peas, but seriously, who couldn’t use a chance for a little extra luck? A friend of mine makes this for parties and It. Is. Good! (Shout out to Katie B over at Tale of a Grits!)

It’s quick and delish, it’s great as a dip, so give it a try!

Black-Eyed Pea Salad (from allrecipes.com)
2 (15.5 ounce) cans black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red onion
4 green onions, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
Tortilla chips

In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Combine the salad dressing, sour cream and parsley. Add to the pea mixture; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

Enjoy!
