Trends – From The Mart

Haile just got back from The Mart and she’s your eyes on the inside!

Here’s the low-down:

Green and re-used items were big – from the usual - tote bags, stainless H2O bottles, melamine plates, - to the unusual - things like cufflinks from used golf balls – to the industrial – warehouse carts as coffee tables.

Little Luxuries – small things to upgrade your life (Did I hear someone call my name?)  – tupelo honey, gourmet jams and jellies, even monogrammed pajamas. I’ll forgo lunch meat to afford fancy cheese – anyone else with me?

Handmade – Can you say Etsy? Hats made with paper bags (yep!) and felted wool goodies. It’s all made by an actual person, and it’s all one of a kind. Never heard of Etsy? Brace yourself and click here.
