Aaaannnnd... We're Back!
We made it safely back to T-ville after the Stationery Show - but what fun we had in the City! It was so great to meet so many of our super-fab retailers. And, of course, we ate lots of great food and went to the Highline and MOMA.
Now, I know you really wanna know about the Show! More to come, I promise!

Carolyn M. – Transitioning from Paper to Personalized
Papers & Presents owner, Carolyn McCoy, started her stationery business in 1988 while living in Beacon Hill and working full-time in downtown Boston. Initially she carried albums in the trunk of her car and pulled them out at every opportunity to sell stationery, invitations, and birth announcements. Today, almost 19 years later, she is the owner of a very successful store in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Raised in southern Virginia, Carolyn's inspiration for the business came from an adorable stationery store in her hometown of Martinsville, Virginia (thank you, Janice). The staples of the business are the wonderful paper products - the personalized stationery, the irresistible invitations and the adorable birth announcements. The "Presents" part of Papers & Presents, however, is comprised of very unique custom gifts. Find Paper + Presents here.

Here are a few from Elle Magazine:
And I just got one similar to this one from Anthropologie (in red pinstripe!) for our trip to the New York Stationery Show! Thinking of pairing it with white or navy.

We Love The Golden Isles
No, the Golden Isles are not in the Caribbean, they're the sublime barrier islands of coastal Georgia. Simple and understated (for the most part), there's a reason why millionaires and celebrities have frequented these isles for eons.
