Best Trips This Summer?

Haile's been to Fisher's Island and Tybee, I've been to Clearwater Beach, Kelly's in-laws are in France, and my Mom's going to Italy.

We love love love to travel - how about you? Guest blogger Kelly writes:
My mother-in-law is in France for three weeks with my sister-in-law, her husband, and two children.

Since we were all in Atlanta for the Fourth, I hosted a casual Bon Voyage dinner for them at Babette's Café, a charming French restaurant in Atlanta.

I gave them Provence bag tags for their luggage and ordered these flower arrangements.

I created the "Bon Voyage" signs and added them to the arrangements after picking up from the florist's.

My husband puts his hats in the freezer while doing yard work and rotates them as they get too hot-used to think he was crazy, but it really helps. I just stay inside and laugh at how silly he looks.

During my days in the restaurant business, I would go stand in the walk-in cooler and literally chill out for a minute.

Why is it so Hot?

It's so darn hot because in the South we really like to make hoe cakes on the sidewalk in the Summer.

Suzanne: Grilled burger

Haile: Tomatoes are my favorite summer food, and my favorite summer meal is... Grilled steak, sliced tomatoes with fresh basil, corn on the cob and a biscuit - unless it's too hot to turn on the oven.

Kelly: I scream for ice cream!

Bunny: Tomatoes + basil from my garden with fresh mozzarella slices and a bit of balsamic. Num!
